
Frank I. Magers Jr. passed away peacefully at home on February 14, 2017. He was born July 20, 1921 in Elwood, Indiana where he spent his childhood.
While serving in WWII in the US Army Frank received two Bronze Stars for heroic service in battle.
He graduated from Purdue University and received his J.D. from I.U. School of Law – Bloomington. His career in law spanned (over)40 years.
Frank was an ace golfer and longtime member of CCI. He was also a Bridge Life Master.
Frank’s family includes his wife of 69 years, Rose; 9 children; numerous grand and great -grandchildren ; nieces , nephews; and his brother, Thomas “Mick” Magers. (Frank is predeceased by many sisters and brothers, son Steve, and granddaughter, Kerensa.)
Visitation will be at 11:00 am followed by 1:00 pm service Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis. Burial with military honors will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
